I thought this was a funny thread but some people seem to be taking it seriously. Guess I am confused. If a reporter can only take it for a few seconds that tells us that it is torture? I thought it was supposed to be unpleasant? If the reporter could take it for a few minutes without freaking out, than wouldn't the technique be shown to be totally ineffective?
Hannity reminds me of some middle-aged guys I know who buy assault rifles and always talk big about what the military should do and what they would do if only they were young enough to serve, which of course they never did when they had the opportunity. Demented, depraved douches all.
If military pilots, air crews, and other high-risk personnel can make it through waterboarding in SERE school, I'm not too concerned about interrogators using it to get info on terrorist plans. People forget that using such interrogation techniques made Khalid Sheikh Mohammed sing about quite a lot of their plans. When we start jamming metal spikes into thighs and electrocuting people a la Taken, I'll start calling it torture.
