    Faulk was on the cover. Maybe we jinxed Banks by calling him Touchdown Tommy so early in his career. The TD run vs. FL was inside the magazine with the story. That was a great picture.

    I'd like to see that picture again. I looked on the web for a while but couldn't find it. If anyone has the pic, it would be great if you could post it.

    Past Running back depth when Stovall was HC.
    1. Dalton Hilliard
    2 Gary James
    3 Eric Martin
    4. Gene Lang
    5. Herman Fontenot
    6. Karl Bernard
    7.Can't remeber his name but he transferred to Holy Cross after he showed up on Campus and saw the competition. He made it to the NFL also.
    Martin, Lang, and Fontenot all were switched to other positions as Sophomores because of the talents of Hilliard and James.
    Bernard transferred to McNeese because of the competition.

    All those seven backs were in the NFL for a few years. Hilliard and Martin with the Saints. Bernard with the Lions. Lang with the Broncos and Fontenot with the Browns.
