You also gotta love a guy who sees 4 excellent backs in front of him and is totally unafraid to compete!
Quoted by HatcherTiger: Have we ever been this deep at RB ? I can't think of a time when we were. I think so, or close: Someone help me out, I will try: 1 Kevin Faulk 2 Rondell Meally 3 Cecil Collins 4 Kendell Cleveland? 5?
Deep at back Boy what could have been if Cecil wouldn't have went hay wire! LOL 1) Kevin Faulk 2) Cecil Collins 3) Rondell Mealy 4) Kendall Cleveland 5) Was it LaVar Johnson - who only saw mop-up duty on special teams? 6) Tommy Banks (Fullback but I loved this guy)
Everyone of them are going to be back next year also. If you look at the really big picture then expect Shawn Jordan, Jason Spadoni and any of the big freshman that we might get next year (Jay Lucas, Tyler Benoit, Derron Thomas) to make that situation even more muddled. In that case how would they stack up then, who would get the redshirt? It's nice to have that kind of talent. You could also say the same about receiver.
Me too. You know he got the lone TD of his career on a short pass from Rohan Davey in our Peach Bowl come back over Georgia Tech. He was so excited it actually made me chuckle a little.
I remember a pretty important TD he scored in 1997 against Florida. There was like a 2 page picture in Sports Illustrated of him stretched out going for the goalline. I tried to find it but couldn't. Anyone know the photo I'm talking about?
