Wherever he signs. Don't know how good he can or might be, but Grandad Archie & his 2 Uncles could never win the elusive NC in college. Yet both his Uncles won Super Bowls later on. I don't think he's coming to LSU. But I also missed badly on 2 recruits I'd heard were leaning heavily to LSU. Will the "Golden Arch" leave college empty handed too?

I saw him play in game on TV this year, wasn't impressed. He didn't look very good, but they were playing a really good team as I recall.

I agree. I saw him play a couple of times on tv and he wasn't that impressive. You could tell he had talent, but it wasn't so overwhelming that I would consider him the best player in his class nationally. I hate to admit it, but the best QB I've seen in a few years is A&M signee Conner Weigman. I think Manning will have a solid college career, but if I had to pick one to lead my team, it would Weigman hands down. That kid is extremely talented, but his biggest hurdle will be overcoming the poor coaching of Jimbo. If he can overcome that, he's going to be a top 5 NFL pick for sure.
Weigman is very impressive in his highlite films for sure. Seems to be deadly accurate & also a 210 lbs RB with close to breakaway speed. That whole class looks scary good. 7 5 Star athletes. Unreal. I was thinking we had Jacoby Mathews & he's not even their highest ranked CB signee. Agree with many who think if Jimbo doesn't win with this class, he might get shown the door. But an X factor is that Jimbo did beat #1 Alabama & Saban. That's probably good for a few more years of good will. I'm hoping CBK can get better for his 2nd year of recruiting at LSU. Gotta think having Frank Wilson & Cortez Hankton on staff will help us a lot.
There was one of those ESPN things quite a while back, years ago...30 for 30 maybe, possibly some other short? Anyway it was about the Mannings, at the end of it Arch is just a tot and Archie asked him who his favorite team was and he said LSU! Still no chance he comes here. I think its TX and I'll be good with that.
