I was wondering what time to be there. I am coming from Long Beach,MS.
And was wondering if I could get any advice about the tailgating I have heard about so often,What is the perception on campus of bringing beer to the pregame:lsup:?Is there places to buy food?

    Thanks for the info.

Just make sure you get there early enough to witness this..... (fast forward to 1:45 or so)

Thanks for the video/////That is what I am hoping to find and see.I plan on getting there early and to make a day of it.I got tickets at StubHub and they came with a parking pass...so I am wondering about that also. Will the parking pass have a certain site to park?Little questions like that.

parking is a issue - 2011 LSU Football Parking Information - LSUsports.net - The Official Web Site of LSU Tigers Athletics

Bus Shuttle to Run For LSU Football Games - LSUsports.net - The Official Web Site of LSU Tigers Athletics

the shuttle is worth the 15 bucks

if you are going to a 7pm kick off all the North Hill Tiger Walk and Band happens around 4:30 and the paper will give you the time the Tiger Bus pulls up and the players and coaches walk down the hill followed by the Band - its way cool but tons of Tiger fans in every inch of North area of stadium

    food - every where

    Geaux Tigers

Does the Bus shuttle run from the parking lots?

If you have a parking pass, you will not need to take the shuttle bus. You will be able to drive onto campus and park in your lot. Be sure to figure out where your lot is ahead of time so you know which way to come into campus.

Any reserved lot will afford you access to plenty of tailgating opportunities around campus. Geaux for noon, park, walk, drink, eat, visit, enjoy.

    Hi,

Also interested in finding out about all the same info. I posted a few months back when we 1st got the tickets to the game. We are coming over from London, UK for the 1st time, and want to experience the whole of what LSU has to offer on Gameday.

I guess we will be arriving about 1pm and hopefully meet some nice local folk for a bit of tailgating 1st, and then onto the Hill to watch the Band.

Can we buy beer on Campus, or best to bring your own from outside?

What do people recommend for after the game? We are 4 lads all mid to late 20's, and would like to visit some College type pubs to celebrate the Victory :)

Cannot wait for this weekend :)

Cheers all and see you on Saturday!!!

Ahh, where can I buy some Tigers Mechanise beforehand, do they have stores outside the game during the tailgating or only inside the Stadium. Would love to get a LSU t-shirt to wear.

There are a couple vendors selling t-shirts outside on the south side of the stadium and also the Tiger gift shop next to mikes cage. If you're coming on from the east on I-12 there is a nice shop off drusilla lane that you can see from the interstate. They sell really nice LSU gear. They aren't cheap but they have nice stuff.
