When folks feel threatened, they often resort to anger to release their frustration. It's funny how much anger Palin engenders in certain circles. She's quiet now because it's politically smart. She'll be speaking soon because it's politically necessary. All this sniping is originating from the media class and their addicts (you know who you are) because they want ammo NOW to shoot at her. Standby. She'll be available for comment soon. I think it will be everything you're hoping for and more. I doubt she passes the elitist Liberal test in just a few months.
If the same woman looked like Hillary Clinton, she'd get far less guff from the shrill Liberal feminazi classes. (I just puked a little...) So shallow from the party that claims to be inclusive and open minded. Smoke and mirrors.
I feel upset because the McCain campaign is choosing what is best for their chances of winning, not what is best for helping voters make an informed decision. And now the debate on Friday is in peril. The longer this goes on, the more this election will feel like a sham. I used to feel pretty good about Palin (I thought her speech at the RNC was strong), but that is beginning to change. I feel pretty disappointed that more folks aren't irked by this new turn of events. How is hiding Palin helping voters make an informed decision?
Wait, you're upset because a politician is concerned about winning an election? This surprises you.....in what way?
Well, McCain was telling me he was different, and that Palin was a breath of fresh air. I don't see how what they are doing helps voters make an informed decision. I do realize politics is a game of deceit, but that doesn't mean I won't expect more. Maybe I should be more upset that so many people don't care; I imagine the founding fathers would be.
Well said, but no one's going to be different. Whoever gets elected will give us more of the same of what his respective party usually gives us. Facts of life. The best thing to do is educate yourself, vote for who you feel will be best for the country, and then live your life without waiting for the government to tell you how to do it. Shouldn't be a problem, right? :usaflagwa:laflagwav:lsup:
Give me a f'in break. It's not like there's anything that's going to convince you to vote for the McCain ticket, so get off your GD high horse and cut the crap. :angryfire
