You're asking the wrong question. You should instead be asking why Les Miles should not be fired?

Miles is a good coach, but not a great coach and this is the AL game all over again. FL has scouted LSU well and the offense can't do anything. Plus, Miles has had no luck with QB's. Mettenberger is worse than Jefferson. The offensive scheme is so obvious that anyone can stop LSU. It is really embarrassing.

We all know this. We also know that idiot won't do it. Sure you homers quote his win pct all you want. This team has too much talent to look this bad. That rest on one dudes shoulders.

He doesn't need to take a Xanax. You need to stop popping the xanax so that you may depart from Planet Miles and begin your dreadful descent back into the harsh reality.

I disagree. Look at the trends have you seen an offense from this team under miles ever? No we have never had an offense to speak of. Just damn tired of seeing is settle for mediocrity. Don't fool yourself we are mediocre at best under miles. Our talent has always been there to bail us out and now injuries are taking that from us.

I'm hoping this will make Miles wake up and let Mettenberger play. I still think there is the potential in there, Miles just has the screws so tight on QB. We've been due this loss all season. Miles has won too many games managing QB and thinks that is the best way to win games. What we really need is a QB Miles can trust.

We had a good offense in '07 and when Russell was here.

But overall, I would agree that the offense has been largely disappointing, and considering that Miles is an offensive coach, it's even more telling. Miles needs to find people he is comfortable enough with to let them do their thing. Keeping buddies on staff you can control and promoting a fellow offensive lineman/coach to the offensive coordinator position isn't working. It didn't work with the defense in back in '08. Hire a guy who knows his stuff and, as Miles once put it, "Let 'er rip."
