After reading this thread it is easy to see that John LSU just doesn't get it.
I think his hatred for republicans and the GOP has blinded him.
Before he comments about what I have to say and my opinion.
I'll say that I will post what I damn well please until I am banned.

    Ok,
I am not a GOP loyalist but most of their policies fall in to the categories that I agree with.
Not only that but anyone that votes for the person and not for their beliefs should really think about what they are doing.
If you vote for a guy you like in an opposing party you are voting someone in office that will have policies of which you might not agree with.
Examples are big government, labor unions, global warming, etc.
You are empowering the other side of the aisle especially if you don't agree with most of his policies.

If you are a liberal and vote republican you are doing the same thing btw.
    Bottomline is party trumps person.

I look at the persons policies first then look at the person.
This seems to me like a smart thing to do, color doesn't mean a thing to me.
I'd never vote for anyone for any reason outside of policy.
You are voting for president and not the next American Idol!

It's tough to draw people into intelligent discourse when they're insulted by the premise that they're all fanatics and GOP zombies. People are just tempted to blow off the argument completely.

As for me, I just do what Rush Limbaugh tells me to do.

I cover for martin on this topic. So, if Jesus died for our sins, then why do we have to die for our sins anyway?

Deuteronomy 24:16 The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

That was written pre-Christ dying for our sins.

Do you have a list of scripture that is now revoked? Because they didn't edit it out, you know.

I have no idea what you're talking about.
I'm not even close to being a biblical scholar.
Just googled Deuteronomy and saw it was in the Old Testament.:hihi:

A fanatic is a person. Being fanatical is a state of being. If you are going to insult people, at least use the friggin word properly.

Your title is a personal attack itself(isn't it ironic?), but not on fanatically loyal GOP supporters. It is on an attack on anyone that does not agree with an aspect of liberal politics. Much easier to lump everyone together for your own sh!t stirring party.

You don't really wish to have a discourse with conservative democrats or republicans, but apparently wish to start your circular arguments that merely end with you talking to yourself.

Perhaps you ran out of pictures to cut and paste.

No one should be a fanatic loyalist to any human institution because all human institutions are fallible. And the GOP is a political party - not a cult.
