Why should I be a fanatic loyalist to the GOP?

If there was a fanatical atheist, muslim, jew, buddhist, hindu, etc. posting anti-Christianity opinions, you would see a sh!tload more people defending their christianity. But since martin is no longer here touting the greatness of the flying spaghetti monster, christianity is rarely questioned on this forum. Therefore it doesn't have to be defended.

Debates get heated. On both sides of the arguement.
Someone comes here and posts anti-GOP, the republican backers defend their beliefs.
Someone comes here and posts anti-Liberal posts, the democrats here show up to defend themselve.

That's how these debate type things work.

I would say your own poll in the other thread contradicts your claim. Considering 60% of the members who have responded either think that Mr Bush and the GOP did a poor job or are unsure, indicates they are not fanatics of the GOP. If they were fanatics they would approve of the job done over the last 8 yrs no matter what.

The core values which the GOP used to be founded and grounded on are what you should cling too. The GOP is no longer the GOP in my book. The real conservatives can be counted on hand these days... Its a shame..

It is what it is.. The country is in big trouble..

Bush was a big spender and lacked communications skills etc.. People want out of this expensive war..and want change! Whatever that means

I want a party that is about Less government, less taxes, less regulation in most areas.. More over-sight on wall street..defend our borders, be generous, be humble, listen to the people...do what is right, be transparent...eliminate bad programs, save money, pay off the debt..drill for oil, create alternative fuels while we drill...be tough on terrorist and criminals, let people have more choices to educate their kids, in fact let the private sector take over education..

Eliminate labor unions, level the playing field for American companies..

Sound good so far? Will it happen? No

Because our government wants a Global government one day... and that means total contol over us. At this point in the game, it's a slam dunk because the citizens are begging for the government to take control

"a Big Idea" to quote Bush Sr.!
