I'm not attacking you. I'm stating that you cannot comprehend and assimilate reading material. This invalidates much of your assumptions about people on this board.
All I'm seeing here is that you are fanatic about being conservative, so fanatic that you don't even think the GOP is conservative enough for you. As for the "liberals," you think they are the "bad guys."
Party loyalties are at the root the country's problems. I want abortions outlawed; I want less government; I happily pay my share of taxes and wish that everyone did; I think the answer to the recession is in the private sector and not in government handouts; I think some form of bailouts were necessary on 9/15, however I think it was handled too hastily; I think Obama is a good man but I'm wary of his socialist leaning beliefs; I think Rush and Hannity make a lot of sense at times if you'd bother to listen with an open mind; I can't say that about Olberman and Maddow; I think the world is a better place because Saddam and his crew are dead and Iraq is on the verge of being a Democratic republic; I think torture is sometimes necessary; I think Osama bin laden is no longer a threat but the Taliban is; I think global warming is a buch of hooey but feel solid waste diposal is a huge problem that needs looking into. What does that make me?
Once again your complete inability to think differently has misguided you. Actually I don’t think Liberals are "Bad Guys" at all. Sure on BOTH sides there are mindless fanatics. but I have MANY liberal friends, much of them I consider close friends. I simply accept them as different minded as a true conservative I covet differing opinions. It often only strengthens my own. You should try it, its invigorating. Debate and dissent is what this country is founded on. You only become more educated when you accept different thinking, engage it, debate and use it to form you own. I am not intolerant of different minded people. So once again you swing and miss.......... Also your post directly references the GOP so I addressed that specific subject. But since you ask. yes I do feel the "current" GOP is not conservative enough. I want Ronald Reagan back... That to me is a true conservative. You should read some of his books, or better yet Barry Goldwater. May enlighten you to a different opinon....
