Okay we're going in circles, it was brought up in 01 and it took him 4 plus years to get it the way he wanted. Humbug. Wasn't the "language" he wanted. Humbug, there are at least a dozen links to places that confirm the bills were identical. The one I just posted says in the title that HE admitted they were the same. What more do you need for proof. Thats hilarious, reminds me of that Dave Chappelle skit with the blind guy, funniest crap I've ever seen. I got stuff to do, like find a job. Oh no, whatever will I do, the economy, those evil republicans, oh woe is me.
I'll find it this evening when I get home, but if you are right, i will say that you are quickly. Lol, that is one of the funniest skits ever. I still watch it to this day. Im sure you will find a job, you wont have a problem with that.
Excuse me? Did McCain say "from the moment of conception? Yep. Does the Anti-Abortion crowd want to eliminate all abortions regardess of the health of the mother? Yep. Do they want to overturn Roe v Wade and render 1st trimester moot? You bet. I'll take that bet. Make your case.
and you are the "linked" genius around here. I posted a few but will dig up the one with the testimony of that nurse when I get home tonight or early tomorrow morning. You know if I keep giving you fish, without teaching you to fish, one day you'll go hungry. Then what? Elect a democrat so he can take some of my fish and give it to you, oh yeah, thats exactly right.:thumb:
No argument at all with this statement/sentiment, but a clarification: the American people have not voted in any meaningful numbers on the issue of abortion, with the possible exception of the instance linked below. The so-called "law of the land" on this issue, Roe vs Wade, is not in fact a law at all, and should never be referred to as such. The courts do not pass laws, not even the Supreme Court. IMHO, the proper action we should have seen in '73 was for the Court to have opined that the Constitution did not address abortion, and referred to the 10th Amendment. That would have allowed the states to individually choose whether or not they wanted this practice to be law. Instead, a left-wing activist court legislated from the bench. http://ohmygov.com/blogs/state_and_...outh-dakota-to-hold-vote-on-abortion-ban.aspx
Yeah, John McCain is against baby murder, and that has nothing to do with the linked article that addresses the issues of babies that survive medical necessity late term abortions. BO was a smoker and 2nd habd smoke causes cancer. Therefore everytime he toked he was advocating cancer.
http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/0...-abortion-groups-over-illinois-senate-record/ Here is another related article. Interesting reading this thread today. It seems simple really, Obama's record speaks for itself. He is calling people a "liar" beause they say he voted to kill legislation virtually identical to the federal born alive infants protection act. My take on this is take politics out of the equation for a minute. Another thing I don't understand is people are talking about the hidden language of a bill, or for whatever reason he voted against it 3 different times. This country was about celebrating life at one time, life meant something. Obviously not anymore, the politics of the issue shouldn't matter. What matters is that Obama didn't do the right thing and he didn't save innocent victims which were little babies. He is now trying to cover up his voting record and calling people liars when his voting record speaks for itself.
