    I don't agree

With, I think, everything you noted, he is more. There is no way anyone has changed more for the audience than trump. She is political. He is a car salesman.

But let me put it this way, I like Kaine better than her.

A majority of the Democrats and all of the Republicans feel the same way.

Here are latest NC poll numbers:
Clinton has a 9 point lead over Trump; Cooper has a 7 point lead over McCrory (Governor); and Ross has 2 point lead over Burr (Senator).

NC is very close to being out of reach for Trump. McCrory cooked his goose with the HB2 law. The only one that surprises me is Burr....he been around a long time and is a pretty good Senator for a Republican imo. The gerrymandering decisions have been overturned as well so I expect that it will become harder for Republicans to bake in wins. I image that our congressman here in the western part of the state, Mark Meadows, will likely be in danger in 2018 because of it.

The governor and the legislature are hard core GOP teabillies. HB2, dealing with LGBT bathroom rights, passed in quick session, has been received very negatively. Additionally, the Gerrymandered districts and voter restrictions have been eye openers for many, as well. They have cut taxes on rich while all but gutting the school system, and NC's growth in the cities has been massively liberal. Lots of bricks in the wall.

    Trump has not helped, either

I think they went to far on HB2, I agree with them on the transgender bathroom nonsense. But wow, the voter restrictions have come back to bite them hard.
However, never understood conservative dreams to privatize education, there is no equality in that and the health of your state, nation etc is dependent on how well your population is educated.
