Spent some time in and around Asheville last summer. I agree the place is gorgeous. The North Carolina mountains felt nicer than the Tennessee mountains. Got to get back some time.
yesterday afternoon my wife and I were driving to a storage facility we have and on the way there I told her to look up. The sun was setting over a few peaks out in front of us and it was just beautiful. After 12 years of living here it never gets old. Sometimes wish family was closer.....but then again, sometimes glad they aren't.
Now I see where the rest of your drivel comes from. This forum only has room for one booze hound so knock it off.
And who the phuck nominated you? Side note....Charlotte was beautiful and terrific weather for my visit. Spent 3 days and then drove south to Mistletoe State Park in Appling, GA for 5 days. I watched a Bald Eagle fish and fly for a couple days. When you live in a city like I do, there is something amazing spectacular and soothing about complete silence absent the occasional call of a loon.
