I have discussed, at great length, with supporting citations that the primaries are in no way indicative of the general election. Oregon is a very liberal place. Bernie doing extremely well there is no surprise.

I am still holding out hope that Bernie will catch her and sway enough superdelegates to steal the nomination from her. I think he is by far a better candidate, but it doesn't appear that it will be so.

The point is that the infighting between the two candidate and camps is getting harsh. The atmosphere is worse making the Rs seem like choirboys. Likewise her continued primary loses while not stopping her nomination weaken her leaving less time money and room for recovery.

The race has gotten rather contentious, but that's nothing too unusual. The Republicans were in much the same place a month ago. To my chagrin, Hillary is less than a hundred delegates from reaching the magic number. My prediction is that Bernie will go to the convention, not with the intention of contesting the convention, but to secure certain positions of his on the party platform. I contributed to Sanders' campaign so I get little updates from the campaign and in the past week or so I have received more correspondence that refers to shaping the party platform so I think this is the direction they are heading.

He is buying himself a lot of planks in the platform that Hillary will have to run on so that he will bring his voters to the polls for her. He is bringing youth and excitement to the democrats that Bill once did and Hillary really can't. She has the brains, skills, and experience, but with the charisma of Jeb Bush.

Jeb Bush is an honorable man. She's a wretch.

Please refrain from putting those two people in the same boat in any respect.

Absolutely. Bernie is smart to stay in imo. I think he knows that realistically he cannot win the nomination but he also knows that the longer he stays in, the more pressure he puts on her to move her platform left. Love them or hate them, the Clinton's are not ones to let a grudge get in the way of winning elections and if she has to, Bernie may end up on the ticket with her. At one time I would have thought that highly unlikely but the longer it goes on the more I think it possible. If she is the nominee, and it increasingly looks as though she is, she will need a running mate who is charismatic and is good on the stump. She is not. She is a policy wonk and an intellectual, but not a kiss-the-babies, dyed-in-the-wool politician like Slick Willy.
