I listened to part of Coach Oeaux's radio show last night and a caller asked why wasn't Brennan wearing a headset o the sidelines. He wouldn't have any input but it seems like hearing the back and forth between Burrow and Brady/Ensminger would give him a greater understanding of how those decisions are made during the heat of battle and could only help accelerate the learning curve. Oeaux said he never thought about it and would start doing that. We'll see Saturday. I think it would be a good idea for all of the QB'S to wear them during games.
I've wondered this myself and I agree. Will be interesting to see if he actually acts on that advice from a caller.
That’s why O is a successful coach. I remember during the Eagles 2017 season, after Wentz went down, Nick Foles struggled a bit. Doug Pederson starting taking plays out of Chip Kelly’s playbook from when Nick Foles had his record season. That’s coaching humility and open mindedness, and it’s value cannot be overstated.
@tzanghi Being critically fair, it really makes no sense that it occurred to no one in the loop - not O, not E, not Brady - to have your number 2 QB on the headset. That's a huge drop of the coaching ball, imo. If we do see Brennan on headset from here out, then yes, credit to O for being open minded enough to accept and implement a fan's suggestion. But again, its not exactly encouraging that a fan had to suggest it in the first place.

Let’s get real ... It’s time for Myles to start getting significant playing time with the first team offense ... That’s a recommendation that’s a helluva lot more important than getting to practice “being coach” and “being in the playcalling loop” that helps him practice “making an audible out of a bad play call”
I can’t agree without some evidence that it is the norm for back up QB to wear a headset to listen in on those discussions. I can’t fault O or Brady for not thinking of something that no one else is doing. If, indeed, this was the norm, and we are behind, then you’re right. But if this is innovative, then it’s not at all a bad performance by our coaches, nor is it anymore discouraging than a 30 year old teaching a group of old and wise football men how to run an aerial attack.
