The sad part is that you only discuss the idea of not flying it b/c it offends black football players and recruits, but the feelings of all the other black students on campus don't matter.

You're right. I don't give a crap about anyone else on that campus's feelings. If they are not an athlete, I don't care. I've already said that I don't agree with their logic. All I care about is LSU athletics. If the players are pissed or upset, then I will accommodate them. I don't give two poops (surely poop is an acceptable word on here) about the BSU or any other black, white, spic, yellow, green, or brown student on that campus's feelings when it comes to the flag.

 

Again, very, very, very sad.

 

THE FLAG

Those people who are marching all over LSU are not ignorant,but dangerous!They are marching against everything LSU stands for.Do they realize that the phrase FIGHTING TIGERS was named after A civil war regimine.Does this mean LSU has to get rid of the name also ?I never complain when I see blacks parading around in their mother land garb, or the 'IT'S A BLACK THANG YOU WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND'' shirts,so why the hell should I be made to not represent my heritage?Is there A double standard?Hell yeah there is.Well to hell with all them protesters and just let someone tell me something out on campus.Most of the black people out there on game day are there to scalp tickets anyway.I say it here and I say it to your face because i'm proud of my heritage just like you are of yours.Don't step on my feet and I won't step on yours.Hell follow those few things and you may even be my friend before it's all done.

im with salty jarhead on this one. i dont play the game of calling people the name they want me to unless they have something i want and i have to be nice to them. otherwise i say screw them and their sensitivity. freedom of speech means people will speak. when you complain, it is you that are causing the problem, not them.
