Well, I would say the military successes started at the end of the Bush era and are simply an extension of the policy they were already pursuing. But, I don't really care about that. I'll give him that for arguments sake. Failures? How about this one: Democrats are heading for the hills in droves. He has wrecked his party and their chances to hold on to overwhelming majorities in both houses of congress and was almost certainly heavily responsible for losing the Kennedy seat in the Senate. A remarkable accomplishment in one of the most liberal states in the Union. Even the democratic apologists were admitting it was a mistake for him to go down there and make fun of that guy with his truck. Trucks are a part of American culture....that was stupid.
Prove it. Make your case and don't quote Glen Beck. And how exactly is that a Presidential failure for the United States? Are you seriously claiming that this guess of yours constitutes a Presidential failure?  This is your example of a Presidential failure? You put this up against two failed Trillion-dollar wars and the worse financial collapse since the Depression? :insane:
Your opinion does not equal fact. You should attempt to hold yourself accountable to the same rules you demand of everyone else on this site. :thumb:
Just curious...has anyone compared Obama and Carter to see if he's ahead of (or behind) schedule to be the worst ever? Didn't Carter give away the Panama Canal early in his administration and screw up the Iran fiasco late in his term? 32 months and counting to the 2012 election...hopefully we'll have better options next time!
Red: Glenn Beck? If I have ever quoted Glenn Beck then I will apologize to you personally for my ignorance and grant you and FSA a month long reprieve in pentence and say a Rosary in praise of the scientific method. How about that rabid, right-wing idealogue Mort Zuckerman....do you mind if I quote him? Red: Hey, I'm no Bush fan. I think the neo-cons have put the country on its knees financially. I just wish Obama didn't appear so willing to apply the coup de grace.
Was it one war or three wars? Were they finished by the last President or left undone? Have the wars been cheap? Please, . . . point out my error.
Owing nothing to the current administration. They adopted the same strategy the previous administration put into place. Obama and Biden were completely against the surge. To some degree, but we were left to play catchup because Obama took at least 6 weeks to make a decision to send additional forces. In the end, it was a wise decision to listen to his commanders in the field instead of Biden. The $ is most certainly not stronger when coupled with the enormous amount of debt the US in incurring.
You said these were "failed wars". It doesn't matter who started them, how much they cost, or if they're finished. You simply spouted off that they are "failed wars". You obviously don't want to point out any successes as this is all political to you. I believe many of our own soldiers would disagree with you and I would value their opinion over yours as I'm pretty certain their contributions to this country (and the world) are far greater than yours.
if you believe the recession was caused by bush (and maybe it was caused by his crazy spending) then what has obama done differently that has helped reverse bush policy? obama spends like bush, except more.
