Don't forget they are actually under contract with T.O. and now Bobby Knight to actually create controversies. I can't remember the exact numbers of the deal they struck, but I think they are definitely gettin paid well.

It's not proper to wish someone to die dude... grow up

ESPN has went to crap and a handbasket the last couple years. I hardly listen to what anyone on that channel has to say. I usually have it muted when it's on and I read the tickers and such. Just give me the stats and show me the plays, I can make my own judgements...

Last night in talking about USC ND game, he said ND would win and when questioned he said, "We" usually win over there.

Freudian slip but I think '93 was the last time ND won at the Col.

Did you guys see last night where they did a "blind resume" between 2 teams in the top 10?

One was for Granny Holtz and the other was for Mark May and the jist of it was to decide who would face the winner of the Ohio St. / Meechigan game in the National Championship game.

I can't remember the details of each, but Hotlz picked Team B over Team A. Team B was Florida and Team A was USC. When Granny picked Team B, it's like both he and Reese Davis stumbled over themselves in dead air.

Then they posed it to Mark May and he picked Team B over Team A. Team B was Notre Dame and Team A was Arkansas. May looked shocked as all hell that he picked Notre Dame.

It was hilarious, I could tell that all three of them wanted to get off the air as quick as possible.

What gets me about this is that they're actually trying to market it as the greatest regular season game in the history of college football. <barf> It's an important game, but to say it's the greatest of all time is hyperbole. The only thing it is is the most hyped game of all time.

They did (UT vs. OSU) but I guess since it's late in the season and closer to NC and with BCS implications it makes an already big rival even more of a draw.

    That's funny! :hihi:
