I was really disappointed to see OU lose b/c I wanted LSU to beat the greatest team in the history of college football (according to all those experts). However, if OU would have won, we would be hearing from everyone how LSU doesn't deserve to be there ... it should be USC. OU losing took that off our backs.
don't worry about these arseholes ... watch those Vegas lines LSU was a -10 to -12 U-dog a week ago, opened up -5.5 Coach Saban & LSU ......THRIVE......ON NO MEDIA RESPECT. These media types and Vegas still cannot gauge this team.
I think the lack of respect still has a lot to do with the really bad years in the 90's. It takes a long time to shake off that many bad seasons...but this is exactly the way to do it.
I love being the underdog.....that's where we want to be. I want to hear from everyone in the media how LSU can't win this game. It feeds right into our machine. What will get LSU to the level of an OU in terms of respect will be Coach Saban. If he stays here and builds a legacy and a dominating team for many years to come, then LSU will place itself up there with all the elite programs. We will have to win 3 or 4 National Championships in that span however, starting with this year. It will come. And then everyone will be gunning for us. Won't that be fun (no sarcasm here)? Ramah, Ohio State is the most overrated and over appreciated team in america.
