Les Miles was not the coach in 2003 so that's not apart of the argument. You can't give a guy credit for something when he wasn't there.
Guess LSU should have made Curley Hallman, Jerry DiNardo, Mike Archer? Its real easy to do. Where are these coaches now?
One is working at UV, never having a Head Coaching job again, one is on the Big 10 Net as an Analyst and Curley, went on to coach a high school in Alabama, but resigned and married a State Senator. I guess Curley is the only retired guy.
My bad. Actually, all four of these teams have won two SEC championships since 2005. So, I'm still not sure why you think LSU is last on the list.... Oh wait!!! Yes, I do. Miles coaches LSU
Not so sure why this is so hard to understand. People keep pointing to the 10 year record of Miles and pontificating an excuse for the CURRENT issues he has. I have said multiple times that the "trend" STARTING in NO vs Alabama has done NOTHING but go down in performance and ESPECIALLY against Alabama. I guess there are many satisfied with "almost" wins, and 2nd, 3rd, 4th or worse in the SEC West. I am not, I am not alone. I have seen several times in the last day or so that LSU is an underdog to Arkansas. I have no idea what will happen, however, if they lose this weekend I expect this entire board to implode.
And I have said multiple times that there is no difference in the won/lost record of LSU from 2005-2011 and 2012-2013. Yes, we have lost to Alabama for the last three games. But, again, so has just about everyone else.
