:lsup: wesfau, you seem like a reasonable person. MOST Auburn people I know or have met are damn nice people. I have several personal friends who are Auburn Alumns, and they hosted my wife & I two years ago in the rain at Auburn when we got our arses beat bad. Everyone (all Auburn) we tailgated with and met had to look at my LSU flag hanging from the Auburn tarp in the parking area and they were good natured the whole time. I grew up going to games in Tiger Stadium and MOST LSU fans treat the oposition with courtesy most of the time. There's always a few jerks (Tiger Fans & from rival schools) who ruin it and give us all a bad name. No one is a stronger LSU fan than I, but that doesn't require that I act like an idiot to support LSU, home or away. I think most of the Auburn lore stems from the jerk Tuberville incident with the cigar & the kicker who ran into the Tiger Band and really ticked off the crowd I even hold my nose and support Florida when they play out of conference. LSU IS NUMBER ONE SEC IS NUMBER TWO NOTRE DAME IS NUMBER LAST (AND WHOMEVER THEY PLAY IS THREE) :geaux:
You gotta throw these ZeroU fans in there as well. I'm STILL getting the finger up here and I have yet to hear ONE PERSON tell me that they were treated in any way other than rudely and obnoxiousoy in NO. I'm told time and again that LSU fans are the worst they have ever seen, even worse than the Texass fans, and that's gotta be bad, considering the hatred they have here for everything Texass. If an LSU-ZeroU series ever does come off, if what they say is true, there won't be many ZeroU fans coming down.
