Ok that is enough! You can talk about my dog, you can talk about my wife, and you can even talk about my mom but don't you dare talk about my accent!:cuss:
You really are clueless. Our DC was only in his second game with this group and hadn't fully implemented his scheme to avoid bigger breakdowns on missed assignments. Go back and watch the defense since that game. You are blind if you don't see the glaring difference in the style of play. Comparing our D scheme now to the one in that game is oblivious. Pelini's boys have absolutely been bringing the pain...just ask Chris Leak. Ever since the 2003 game, when we abused Brodie all night long, we call it getting 'Croyled' when a QB really gets his ass kicked in the pocket. He's so immobile and fragile. He just looks like he should be on his ass the entire game. I expect Brodie to fufill his namesake.
I dare doubt that you speak "PROPER" English. Most people from the south speak a version of "English" consistent with local emphasis of form and meter. Sorry to break this to you, tuscaloosa is not the birthplace of the mother tongue. The sound that you disparage is a dialect, a part of a larger collection of languages, not confined solely to the bastard English that you embrace. If you had ever heard the sultry whispers of a Cajun woman on a hot summer night you might recognize the sound of angels. If you mature, you might come to appreciate these finer things in life.
you, sir, may be way too smart for this site....and definitely too smart to be a Barner. come to the LSU side Deceks...the real Tigers await. :thumb:
You must be a UTexas educated Auburn fan.. didn't know they taught linguistics at trailer park academy of Opelika :thumb:
quite a reasonable post. you may be right. who the hell knows? sure, turnovers and penalties may decide the game, but they are unpredictable and their timing is more important. as almost for every game, this will come down to the line of scrimmage. if we get to croyle you are in trouble and vice versa. if lsu is able to finally put their $hit together, bama could be blown out. i dont think bama can say that. i wouldnt put a nickel down on this game, though. :geauxtige
For real. Dude has gone from just being my favorite Barner to one of the best all-around posters on this board in a very short time.
RTFA's Keys to the game: Bama: 1.Control the line of scrimmage on offense; give Brodie the time he needs to work the game plan. 2. Force LSU into a one dimensional offense, Defense. Defense. Defense. 3. Spread the ball out. Get it to as many of your playmakers as possible to keep LSU honest on defense. LSU: 1. Shut down Brodie. No Brodie, no score 2. No mistakes, not just penalties and fumbles; but missed assignments and schemes. 3. Keep up the special team performance, its clicking so far and may be the deciding factor.
