Harris wont settle down in this offense. The pressure is too high. Harris definitely lacks it between the ears, doesn't have it, wont ever have it. Etling appeared to have a little more poise in the pocket, but lets wait and see how that poise looks when the pressure mounts.
Same look Jordan Jefferson had in his eyes. The only difference between these 2b QB's, is JJ wore the #9 and Harris wears the upside down #9.
I think Etling has earned the right to start also. I just know that last weeks 2nd quarter isn't going to replicate itself very often as we saw in the 2nd half, so I'm just hoping the fans don't turn on Etling because his coach is a doofus and I hope Les/Cam don't mind freak Danny like they did Brandon.
We'll never know because Les puts Harris in a drop back formation when he should be spreading it out and running him. Harris is setup to fail due to stupid coaching.
I think the last verse is something about throwing ints when scrambling to field goal range, but I haven't heard hat song in a while so I can't remember.
I doubt anyone thinks Danny is all that great. It's just that a 'C' QB can be exciting when you're used to seeing a 'D-' out there. LSU can be competitive, even dangerous, with a 'C' QB.
Yes Harris has been setup to fail, but I have also seen enough of him to know he lacks the mental skill set to be an efficient QB in the SEC. It just isn't there.
Right? Who is calling for Danny? I have only read people asking for something that resembles an offense. If its Etling, Great. But we knew it wasn't Jennings, know it isn't Harris, and pretty much all know it doesn't matter because Les Miles is a stubborn idiot.
