I think it should be Etling. I think we've seen enough of Harris to know he's not the answer.

However, I do think it speaks volumes that our QB play has been so bad, that we consider 6-15 for 100 yards with a TD and an INT against an FCS opponent promising. I think it's more like, it can't get worse so let's see if this kid can improve because I don't think Harris will.

Don't get me wrong, the 2nd quarter was very good. The rest of the game?? Not so much, but I agree that he does show some promise, which is more than I can really say for Harris. I think you let Etling play and take his lumps.

I'm voting Harris as well. Miles is the type of guy that would rather be right than anyone else be right. And he will do everything he can to prove it, and will fail miserably.

The joke is on anyone who believed this offense would change. I mean honestly, how in the fuck did you get fooled again. Alleva said he spoke with Miles and was guaranteed there will be changes on offense and even Travin Dural said we still run our base offense.

This offense will NEVER change as long as Les is the coach and Cameron is the OC. It's a fucking shit show and all those people who begged for Les to not get fired deserve this shit.

I'd bet it will be Harris as well. But I agree that it should be Etling. In those last 3 quarters, we saw more fire and excitement from our offense than we've seen in a long time. Of course, as I said earlier, we've seen this before and got what we wanted and it bit us in the ass by the end LOL. Still, I like Etling's size. He's tall, kinda reminds me of Mett, possibly with better decision making if given more opportunity to gain experience.

Etling will get the start, but it will be crap play calling like we saw in the second half of Saturday's game (and in almost every other game you can think of), so as already noted by someone else, it won't really matter other than Etling has at least a chance of completing some of those bombs on 3rd and long.

If Fournette is back and healthy I don't mind if we run fairly often. Watching the replay I counted at least 3 runs by our backs that LF7 would have housed! Of course if we set it up with a more varied passing offense, fat chance!

two things did you see how pissed miles was when the sports girl interviewed him as he was coming off the field. He knew he was being proved wrong on national television. This happened with Flynn if I'm not mistaken and then after leading the team to several wins Flynn gets yanked. I know what should happen, if Etling continues to improve we shouldn't see Harris again. However I feel like we will see Harris and it wouldn't surprise me if he starts this week.

Second thing, was it just me or did the offensive scheme turn vanilla and watered down in the second half? There were less wrinkles and all of a sudden it seems like we took our foot off the gas. This has miles written all over it. Maybe I'm reading more into this then there is, but we have seen this bs before.

I have no complaints about the second half offense. We threw just didn't catch well and got picked plus a fumble. Needed to throw some but more creative safer passes and get our running game going and shorten the game. IMHO we should have run ever down and kicked a field goal on our last possession against Wisconsin. Love a creative pass run offense but we outsmarted ourselves on that last possession, Miles!
