Of the four choices offered, I voted for Syracuse. We don't need another Pac-12 team (Washington St.) and I wouldn't make another deal with Marshall after last time. As for beating AU twice in one season, that would be sweet, but it won't happen (except on the Baseball Diamond.. and then we'll do it three times).
I voted for Marshall because Syracuse isn't a very good program right now, and WSU is in the Pac 10, and I just don't like the conference.
Of the four in the poll I would say Auburn a second time is not a legitimate choice The Thundering Terd? No way after the way they stuck it to us!!!!! :cuss: It would be great to play and beat Syracuse, they are a team I have hated forever and they are a legitimate program even if they are a little down lately. (Wash St) But to have a chance to bitch slap a ranked team from the weak Pac 10 would be too much to pass up. Of course once we beat Wash St by 30pts Jim Rome would say it was just a fluke and our buddy Trev would say LSU won by 30 but Wash St is still the better team. But just like with USC and Gawga last year we would know better.:geaux: :lsug:
i voted for Syracuse..... I don't want to play another pac 10 team since we're already playing 1 next year. I don't trust Marshall after they screwed us last time. i don't want to play Auburn twice even though that would be like a historical type of thing that would be interesting and intriging. I like the Idea of playing a little different non-conference schedule plus a stronger non-conference schedule. And I would like to pay back SYRACUSE for when they beat us in a bowl game a few years back when Hodson was here I believe.
the teams I chose were teams that have been rumored about possible replacements.....and then there is AU, which was just for fun. I realize these choices would not be at the top of everyone's list, but these seem like the most likely choices (besides AU, of course)
