AU leaves a bad taste in my mouth, too, but I can't believe there are some people here who would actually pull for USC under any circumstances. There is NO team in the country I would pull for USC over--none. Much less an SEC West opponent. If you don't understand that, go visit wearesc.com, then you'll have the proper distaste for all things Southern Cal (and call them that because they HATE it, almost as much as they hate all things about the Southern US).
I agree with everyone who picked the Sooners in the OU vs. AU match-up. I think the OU fans are class acts and I personally have no allegiance to another SEC school. I think a team with great fans deserves my blessings more than any SEC school’s team or fans that show such disrespect to my alma matter. No offense AU fans. As you see by this thread- many LSU fans would gladly cheer for your Tigers over a team in another conference. I assure you if the NC game is between AU and any other non-conference opponent than I will be cheering for you. Just not against OU.
Mos tof the OU fans are great, it's just the whiners that complained about everything in New Orleans, the LSU fans, the Dome and the game last year that tunred be off to them. I went to their Insiders' site several times after the Sugar Bowl and half were nice, the other half were complete jerks, hardly any in between.
