I would love to get the Texas A@M series going again, but I would not mind having a home and home with the Longhorns, and the Usuck Condoms that would be sweet.:champs: Also Fresno State they were talking a bunch of crap in the USC game that they would love to come to Death Valley, I would welcome them.
Home and away series with: Michigan Notre Dame Penn State Florida State Stanford Cal USC Most (except FSU) would provide more exposure to :lsup: football north and west...
Just for clarification... These big-time schools will NOT play a home and away series. If we play them in Tiger Stadium and return a game to their home (or vice versa), it is called HOME and HOME. Sounds bass ackwards, but that's what it's called. :thumb:
It goes WAY beyond the Fran Era. LSU had a great series with A&M for years, and it turned into a pretty heated rivalry. Didn't help that A&M kicked our teeth in a few times, and we'd like to return the favor!!
Notre Dame Why? Because any team that has Notre Dame on their schedule immediately gets ranked much higher than they typically would be. Tennessee was pre-season number 3 in 2005. (The NBC memo factor) Now that Tennessee isn't on the Notre Dame schedule anymore, Tennessee isn't even listed in the pre-season top 25.
