Already making excuses....and it's isn't even the week of the game yet... :hihi:  Face it buddy, Auburn is going down fast. Tommy will be gone after this season and you're already starting to sway some of your recruits to look elsewhere. I love it...
Ask Florida and Troy though, it's not that hard to have a big lead on LSU at half. Edit: quote button didn't work but you get the picture..
Like Caddy said, 1) Get pressure on JPW and force him into mistakes, something he has been able to keep from doing this season 2) Win the field position battle, make some first downs, punting from close to midfield is not a bad thing in this game 3) If Auburn avoids turnovers, they win this game, but that is one big IF
My heart tells me AU. My head tells me Bama. AU is a team defeated at this point. Will the motivation to beat Bama and "salvage" this disaster of a season, while ruining Bama's be enough?
Oh, trust me, an Auburn victory tomorrow will not be viewed upon as simply a "salvaging" of the season. All 6 losses by Auburn this season will quickly be forgotten. Years from now, Auburn fans will fondly look back at that successful 2008 campaign in which they upended the national championship dreams of Alabama. A victory tomorrow goes a long way in quashing the rumors of Tubbs being on the outs at Auburn.
I think Caddy's alledging that the SEC conference trying to protect a Bama/Florida matchup is not to be ignored. The Big East tried to do the same thing last year with the WVU/Pittsburgh game. One official "almost" single-handedly gave the game away to WVU. WVU just wouldn't take it.
