theyre actually all bringing in duck calls to make fun of tubs. that a way to destroy stereotypes. theyve been doing it for a 100 years. bout time they slipped off into georgia so they can embarrass another state. this will take place no matter what
I experienced my first Iron Bowl last year in Auburn. I hate that place more that anywhere. I have been to some road games and this is by far the worst. NOBODY talks football. NOBODY is generous at tailgates. Hate runs wild outside Jordan-Hare Stadium. Would have been nice to come out with a win, but it was even worse afterwards. Should be fun next Saturday...I just wish that Auburn had a better record actually. When Bama wins, the strip is going to be nuts! I cant wait.
We lost a player for the remainder of the season on the first kickoff this year, and it has been downhill since. Auburn will win. I am thinking at least one thing has to go our way this year....
Alabama has never beaten Auburn at Bryant-Denny (or, as an Auburn fan called it at the LSU-Auburn game this year, "Tommy Tuberville Field")... why stop that streak now?
Bama wins this no questions asked. It maybe close but Bama pulls away in the 2nd half. AU has no offense and the Bama defense should be able to keep them from scoring very much. Both of these defenses are good but Bama's offense is considerably better. I think it will be a decent game though, AU has nothing else to play for at this point but to beat Bama, whereas Bama has a big target on their back and they have a lot of pressure on them. So it could go either way because Bama's offense isn't explosive and won't run the points up like crazy.
Auburn is beginning to get a few injured players back which should aid immensely with our depth, especially on Defense. Like LSU, Auburn continues to struggle at QB, and the staff has been forced to spoon feed the playbook expansion for Kodi Burns. JMO, but I believe there are three things Auburn must achieve to stay in this game: 1) put continuous pressure on JPW, .... early and often 2) move the chains on offense - AU's defense must remain adequately rested 3) excel in Special Teams play In the end, Auburn will be unable to overcome the officiating in a close game. This conference is going to protect it's two divisional winners prior to the SECC and BCS paydays .... and they'll do so with the full support of the university presidents who recognize the value of having two, high-level BCS Bowl participants bringing in the ca$h for all. You can expect to see the the SEC's least-penalized team (over the past two seasons) getting away with murder. It won't be enough for Auburn to play well, ..... they must excel to have a shot at overcoming what they will face this season.
