In a leap of faith, I picked J.Lee to be the offensive player of the game against Bama. Obviously, that didn't happen. I'm doing it again with Auburn in hopes that the opposite can't happen twice in one season. AU - 21 AL - 20
I'm thinkning Auburn finds a way to pull off the upset - and save some pride for this season. Something like 10-9. Just a feeling... :geaux::geaux::geaux::geaux:
bama get's penalized for "leaping" on a missed AU extra point late in the game. Aubie drills the 2nd attempt to seal the victory.
No player on the Alabama sideline knows what its like to beat Auburn.... The crowd has almost forgotten what its like to beat them too...The crowd will play a major factor in this game. Although I think that the the Barners are playing better than the beginning of SEC play, I still dont think that they have enough offense to win the game...and our running game will wear down their defense...much like WV did to them. They are just not a very good team. Once we get the ball first and shove it down their throats for a TD early, the crowd will never back down. Auburn has nothing to lose and Alabama has everything to lose....but 7 WILL happen next Saturday! Auburn will have 7 losses and sitting at home during bowl season. Bama 27 Auburn 13
I found a reason to care. The fall in Atlanta is much harder if Bama is still undefeated. Bama 42 Auburn 11 (A safety, a 55 yard FG that hits the crossbar and rolls over, and a fumble recovery late in the fourth with a missed XP)
But if they lose to Auburn, then to Florida, Bama will probably drop out of the BCS. I can't see the Sugar Bowl wanting a team on a 2-game losing streak.
