Once you get rid of Tubby, the LSU/Auburn series will be a good ole rivalry. Until then, it remains personal. Nothing against Auburn, just their coach.

Yes, Tommy Tuberville is the son of Satan who's only purpose on God's green Earth is to torture LSU and it's fans. :dis:

You guys are just sour because you lost to two good teams.

No, not sour a bit.. had we lost to Mississippi State or the likes of, then I would have been pretty damned sour... Auburn looks good this year and I admit it, but Georgia looks WAY better to me... And to the LSU Tigers I might add... considering Auburn scored 10 on us and UGA hung damned near half-a-hundered on us....

Having that been said, I'd say if ANY SEC team is going to play in the Orange Bowl, then it will indeed be Georgia.

LSU looked DEAD against UGA. Seemed to me like Auburn knocked the wind of your sails with a defensive battle in Auburn. LSU put up more of a fight when they were still undefeated in Auburn. There's ZERO CHANCE that the Auburn loss could've had an impact on the way LSU played UGA?

LSU played awful and lost to Auburn, but UGA drummed LSU. Auburn doesn't have a chance. That being said, props to Tubby for beating LSU and Tennessee, two teams with far more talent.

Couldn't agree more, actually. All that talent is lost without GREAT coaching.

Well, all things considered, we didn't exactly look livid against Auburn... It's plain and simple... We were straight up whooped. Nothing more than that... Hell, even Saban said he thought we had a done some great things at practice...

Both Auburn and Georgia had the LSU game circled on their calanders from last season.... The difference is, Auburn squeaked out a win, and Georgia totally dominated us from the get-go... I could be wrong, and Auburn may prove me wrong when they play Georgia, but as far as I see it right now, Auburn will be lucky if the same thing doesn't happen to them that happened to us. Time will tell...

I don't think that AU knocked the wind out of our sails. It's just as the score says in both. IMO, Auburn & LSU are about equal, but UGA is a much better team than both of us.

Honestly, I think the only way we see an SEC team in Miami-barring a USC loss---is if Auburn and Georgia don't cancell one another out.

In other words, if one beats the other and they have a rematch in Atlanta between an undefeated team and a one loss team, the undefeated team had best make it two in a row.

Why? Look at Texas schedule. They will not lose again if they beat OU. This is arguably the most balanced, most talented Texas team Mack Brown has had (I did say "arguably", but no doubt they have fine play at QB and RB). If they get the OU monkey off their back, it's pretty smooth sailing against a weak Big XII North.

I know, this is college and upsets happen, but at this time it looks like you need an undefeated SEC team beating a one loss divisional champ to have a chance of getting to the Orange Bowl.

Then again, Purdue might burn through a "down" Big Ten undefeated that sees both Michigan and Ohio State not what they usually are and we may have a real big mess come December.
