Which washed up National Championship winning coach will have the most success? Les Miles at Kansas or Mack Brown at North Carolina.
I hope it's Les. After 20 years of begging, we have the Tarholes on our schedule this year. USC's chickens too.
I think it will be a very close race but I think Brown will edge him out only because of the conference in which they play. It will be interesting to see what style of play Les will adopt. I don't think 3 yards and a cloud of dust is going to cut it in the Big12
It’s interesting that both schools are considered basketball schools, but undoubtedly there’s a lot of new energy and excitement around their football programs for the first time in forever. We’ll have to wait and see what kind of offense Les fields, but hopefully he still has that damn strong defense that he can lean on.
Hard to have that bad ass D with no guys like Patrick Peterson, Honey Badger, Glen Dorsey, and on and on and on. Those types are never going to sign with Kansas. As far as offense expect the same old same old no matter what Les says to the media.
That was my thought too. That fucker had us excited this time of year, every year, too. Les bout to be exposed. Kanas being a basketball school ain’t bout to change.
Why do I get the feeling he's going to somehow find a QB and run a wide open Big12 style at KU, neither of which he did at LSU? Not that we wanted a wide open offense when he was here. We just wanted a respectable passing game to keep opposing defenses honest.
