I believe , at least in the SEC, that Arkansas will once again be a major suprise. With LSU's talent and also Florida's, they should be in the championship game. But as we saw last year, the best talent does not always prevail. Arkansas won the western division , not LSU OR Alabama OR Auburn. LSU should not take superior talent and assume victory. Otherwise they could falter early(V. T.) and let that affect the rest of the season. I hope LSU makes it to Nov. 24th without a loss. That way the game will be more meaningful. But by the same token, both teams could have 2 losses. To make it short, the most suprising team this year will be the team, besides LSU, which wins the SEC west. The purple and gold take that for granted and that just ain't so. LSU was by far the most talented team, IMO, in the SEC but could not win some crucial games. When Arkansas leaves Death Valley still undefeated they will be, by far, the most suprising team of 2007.:angryfire
Stafford went 6-2 as a starter last year. Beat Auburn, Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech to end the season. Lumpkin, Brown, Southerland and Moreno are the deepest quality RB group in the SEC East. At WR, Georgia has the fastest group they have ever had. This is the first year that Richt has actually said to an audience that his team has enough talent to win a MNC.
fact: stafford spoons with boys (this is tb3's really mature night) i like georgia mainly because i dont like the other teams in the east this year. i think they will win the east and lose by 54 in the seccg.
The U is going to surprise a lot of people, Coker is gone and can no longer get in the way of the talent stockpile in South Florida
In the SEC I think Kentucky may surprise a few teams. Around the country I would say Penn St. and Pitt. :thumb:
Friedriches is in Wyoming and JayB is in Minnesota, I think the cultural exchange alone should provide the impetus for a few extra wins that those folk would have otherwise missed out on.
