I don't care about winning football games. I just want to watch the LSU Tigers play football, have a good time, and cheer for my team. I enjoy watching the student-athletes having a good time on the field while they share some sportsmanship and collegiate fellowship with each other. If we win, I will yell, "YAY!" If not, well, then, I know that they did their best, and, I know that we will be back next year. I know that our players and coaches did their best against Georgia, and I'm proud of them. If any players or recruits are reading this message board, I just want them to know that we love them and we always know that they'll do their very best. We fans want them to know that: It's not whether you win or lose, but it's how you play the game. In that spirit . . . TRY TO CUT DOWN ON THE DAMN PENALTIES AND STUPID TURNOVERS!
I agree wholeheartedly with your points. If they play Tigerball, good things will happen and they shouldn't need to get too focussed on winning just because they had a big loss in the SECCG. It is important that they'd be able to play their best game for the sake of their confidence and self esteem. They need to think over why they are on the field in the first place..... their love of the game and their achievements that got them there. They owe it to themselves to play a complete game. They have got to have the proper mindset.......to put themselves in the best position for success. On the other hand, I hope they don't get too banged up with the full contact practices. I think that's risky. ________ Medical marijuana
Thanks. Everything I wrote, except for the last line, was not completely serious (I was joking a little bit.)
I honestly think that we'll come out fired up and get revenge on the Hurricane's (pun intended, of course...) But honestly, wouldn't it be fitting for us to come out fired-up like the team every one of us KNOWS we are. I'm telling you right now that if LSU wins, the flip-flopping media will be all over LSU's nuts... and y'all though Sen. Kerry was bad... :hihi:
I just read that Miles has given the team 2 weeks off... I think that's a good thing. I still doubt JaMarcus will play in the game, but getting our other guys healthy will be very important. Any of our QBs playing against the number 1 passing defense in the country scares me. I have the feeling that Flynn will be scrambling a few times. For LSU to win the game, we will have to come out & play with a fire we haven't seen all season. Miami is beatable, but their strengths happen to line up with our weaknesses & it makes this game difficult for the coaches. Before the SECCG, some fans said "this team is going to come out there fired up & ready to play!". Well, that didn't happen. Will it happen for the bowl game? I hope so...
