Is Hanagriff paid by LSU or is he paid by the radio station?

He works for LSU on the "Official Post Game Show" and the "Official Pre-Game Show"...He's paid because 98.1 won a contract to work for LSU to be the provider of the broadcasts.

He's the Sports Director for Eagle 98.1, and works for the LSU Sports Network...

The guy left his job at 1300...and he took a job working on the "Official Pre-and Post-Game Show"...

Bottom line, this guy has a job because of local sports...and local sports ain't the Baker Buffs versus the Plaquemine High School Green Devils high school football post-game show...It ain't Zacarhy High Broncos versus Lee High Rebels basketball...It ain't the Catholic High Bears versus the Denham Springs Yellow Jackets in baseball...

    It's LSU...LSU is the reason he's here...He's a shill for LSU...

    1) He doesn't think we are going to get our ass kicked. He said we will lose. Losing means we could lose by a point

    2) Who cares if he's paid by LSU (I don't know if he is)? Does that mean you want him to predict LSU to win every game? He gave his opinon, that's what I want to hear, not a homer.

If Randall starts and is allowed to play poorly for an entire half like he did against OSU, then this could very well get ugly.

I just hope to God Saban does the right thing and starts Russell.

Randall won't be allowed to play poorly for an entire half. Like I said in another thread Saban will have a quick hook for MR.

Maybe we can call our offense the "hook and ladder".

I don't think Auburn is going to be kicking our ass. They could win a close game, however, if our kicking game doesn't shape up fast.

How many time have we heard that? Hasn't happened yet. It's hurt our opponents though.

i'm a little worried about big plays. the 20, 30, 40 yard plays that we gave up to OSU and ASU will be 50 yards + against Auburn. i'd think its safe to say that we will really try hard to stop the run, and it looks like with this D-line that means run blitzes and 8 in the box. the corners better be on their game, the blitzers better hit the man with the ball, and those young LBs better know when to pick up the releasing TE and RB.

i think our D is especially important in this game because im not sure our O will be able to score much

I agree. It's a little scary that we gave up several long pass plays to Arkansas State. Webster and Daniels need to settle down and play like they did last year. It was also a little scary to watch their running backs continuously pick up yardage.

I really don't care who starts at QB as long as whoever he is plays like he did last night. I was impressed with both QBs. They both had some nice plays, both showed composure, and both threw two TDs. Granted one of Randall's was called back, but that's not his fault. I certainly wouldn't have a problem after last night with Saban starting Randall next week, as long as he pulls him at first sign of struggle, which I think he would do.

I think it's up to our D. If they can stop the run, which Auburn needs to survive, then we should win.
