1. Not averaging 50+. We've only had one punter average 50 yards a kick for a season. It's hard to do when you have to pooch punt and kick to the sidelines. I mean a punter capable of hitting 50+ consistently when we need it. We have had such punters.
  2. still zero. try 40+ and you may be in the ballpark.
  3. Chad Kessler averaged 50 yards over a season at LSU. Donnie Jones did it in the NFL and had an 86-yard punt at LSU.

    I can dream.
  4. ill rehash this at the end of the season. if you are within 10 yards consider it a victory.
  5. Screw punting! Maybe the offense will step up this season so we don't HAVE to punt as much. I mean, it's a sad state of affairs when, in a thread about who will step up this season, we're hoping it's the punter.
  6. Patrick Fisher had a huge leg. I remember one time he carried it 50+ yds not even getting off a full kick because he got hit (not technically a 50yd punt, but still) . Brad Wing can boot the ball. He's the kind of punter you're talking about.
  7. michael ford
  8. Rueben Randle is going to turn it on as well, with his size I see him becoming really physical and dominating a lot of defenses.
  9. I agree here but lets all hope we have a QB that can get the ball to him!!!:tigereye:
  10. Damn, there's so much depth on this team. I cannot wait to see these guys play.

I think Coach Kragthorpe helps Jefferson improve quite a bit, I think this is his main reason for him staying on the staff.

Rueben Randle HAS to be the guy this year.

I hope we get to see Russell Shepard become the player we all hoped and dreamed he would be.
