1. I think it is bigger as to what happens after the first drive. It would be a big blow for LSU to score first and kill the home field advantage.

Obviously, the best bet would be to differ, stop them, and then score. The person who has the ball second will set the tone.
  2. I've had the thought on more than one occasion looking at this game it very well may end up on the note of who has the ball last.
  3. Well, judging from the last three games, I'd say that's a decent bet.

The wildcard may be the play of LSU's defense. If they can generate two or three punts per quarter, I think our offense will definitely score on Bammer. If LSU can't force punts/turnovers, then this may be another nail biter.:geaux:
  4. I sure hope it is. Blow outs can be fun...but i love a good competitive ball game.
  5. It doesnt matter who gets the ball first. All LSU needs to do is open up the O early on and NOT wait until the 4th. Play aggressive like they did against Va Tech and there shouldnt be too much to worry about.
  6. what if your only able to get three on that opening drive? How much faith does Coach Miles have in your place kicker...i wanna say Colt David but that might not be right.
  7. He sent him in to kick a 50 yarder to win the Ky game and he had the leg but was off a foot.........how's your's?

*Edit- here, I'll answer for ya:*
    Tiffin is 15 of 22 (68.2%)...longest- 44
    David is 14 of 19 (73.7%)...longest- 38
  8. Tiffin had a little bit of a rough start at the beginning of the year, but has otherwise been consistent. He was 4 for 5 i believe in the Tennessee game. I have faith in him. He's put last years Arkansas game far behind him. He's still having a little bit of problem with the 45+ kicks, but not many sophomores in college can make them consistently.
  9. Yeah, they look pretty comparable.
  10. lets hope all they have to do is kick offs and extra points.
