My least favorite person isn't on the list sooooooooooo. Mushberger. Spielman I like quite a bit. I understand that Herbie isn't a favorite here but he shows up prepared and is incredibly knowledgeable. And Clayton is rough on the eyes but he also knows his stuff. I prefer listening to him on the radio-some of his draft analysis this last weekend was outstanding and spot on. Okay, I like Costas too. Add Lou or Tony Kornheiser and my list is done.
definitely jemele hill. who is josh elliot? his birth certificate actually says screamin' a. smith always liked listening to clayton and mel on radio on weekends if outside doing something. used to really like costas but hes a bit too much most of the time. too melodramatic for me. herbie is good plus he's so dreamy. actually my new favorite person is chris carter.
Beano Cook is a little creepy, he was old twenty years ago. Here are photos of him in 1st grade and junior high school.
Does 5:00 Sports Center, ESPN News, and sounds like he is always spitting and says "for three" completely different than anything else. He was on tv last night and it looked like he had lost 20 pounds. Pretty goog show - Mel knows a good but about basketball too. To me Costas is great in interviews, but if he does a radio show there is no way I could listen. I literally can't define half of the words he uses. Not sure if you're kidding or not but I like Chris Carter. I like Kornheiser but I havent listened to his radio show since he left ESPN.
definitely serious. he was the only part of the dog and pony show that kept me from realizing sooner the nfl network was crushing espn for most of the draft. he cut thru all the bs that they have now and actually gave some good analysis and insight. nor did he feel the need to fake laugh at everything. do they really need 5/6 people at the main desk all trying to talk at once? then on top of that they have jaws/herbie and someone else on another desk at the same place for the same broadcast. why is herbie there again? they put him on every freakin broadcast. hes pretty good but cmon. cant we get back to kiper, mortensen and boomer then leave it at that.
i dont know why they dont give jaws more airtime. you know, the guy that works at nfl films and actually watches all of the film on these people?
thats what got me. they stick him in the back with herbie as an afterthought. like he was demoted or something. he said he watched 16 hours of film each week for a many weeks preparing for the draft. all for about 10 mins face-time?:lol:
yeah, I'm on the anti-Jemele Hill bus too...on the other hand, I really like Charles Davis, that guy knows his stuff and is interesting whether he's on tv or radio.
Pam Ward - horrible. I'm sure she has a better sport, but she's horrible at college football. Jim Hawthorne. I mute the TV and turn on the radio when I'm able to synch them up via TiVo.
