All I know is Washington is a bad football team. It will be my 2 yr old son's first LSU game to watch. He sees a baseball game now and he cheers, "Go Tigers Go" The Tigerazation has begun.

There stadium is small by our standards, but LSU fans will be there in force. I bought three tickets through the Portland area LSU alumni chapter, and the UW ticket sales rep said he had never seen such an interest for a road game. Lots of LSU fans are treating this like a bowl game, plus there are thousands of alumni in the area who know that the Tigers coming out West is a once every 10 years kind of thing, and are making the trip. It being a long weekend helps too.

My only concern is the late start. We are flying there from Atlanta, as it's cheaper to go to a game in Seattle than one in Athens.

well for starters i dont think UW will win but it will be closer than i see some of these predictions, this team has a lot of talent, UW will probably keep it close until midway through the third quarter then LSU will pull away, im thinking 44-24 final score, oh and the stadium isnt itty bitty like i read, there will be 80,000 at that game and if any of you are going you will experience how loud that place gets real quick, also for anybody coming up here for the game i highly suggest taking a boat to the game, by far the best gameday experience in the nation for going to a college game. And no we wont be scheduling cal-poly or northern arizona anytime soon, we have never played a D-II school, next year is nebraska, byu and syracuse, should be an a good game for the first half but im sure LSU will pull away, i believe we come down there in 2012, will be a whole different story then

Good post Kramer...although I think you're underestimating LSU. It may be closer than some think here but only if coach Miles decides to give you guys a dose of ball control running featuring Charles Scott and company. We may run out of time to score more than 40 pts. :hihi:. How our new D performs will determine haw much scoring you guys will do. Just remember, traditionally LSU has a dominating defense...just ask Ohio State and Oklahoma. Chances are that this year's defense will be back.

SEC fans in general view your conference as a one team group when compared to the SEC. Watch out because LSU will be playing with a huge chip on their shoulder to prove the SoCal press wrong about their over estimations of PAC 10 strength. We will represent the SEC much better than Tennessee did. They will want to send a message to the west coast in a very big way. To us this game is way bigger than just a contest with UW. Just remember that in the SEC, religion is on Saturday...church is on Sunday:yelwink2:.

Maybe you could give a native insider's view on what people on a budget can do in Seattle...especially with regards to drinking and good food up there. If you get the chance to party with the tiger fans around the stadium, definitely do so...you'll be in for a treat and make a lot of new friends.

I think a lot of us are judging Washington based on last year. Well, we were off last year, too and expect to be much better. I expect Washington will be, too. Opening on the road with a young quarterback will not be the walk in the park that opening at home against some cupcake team like Western Kentucky would have been. Washington will be rebuilding this year, but the Pac-10 is more than a one-team league. LSU should look like a top-10 team, but I don't expect some superman blowout performance. I expect Les to play a lot of people and try not to get key plaeyers injured early in the season. It's a mistake to write off this Washington team as an easy win like they were USL or something.

True, with Oregon it's now a 2-team league. You never underestimate any opponent, but again if LSU ain't taking care of business by a fairly wide margin, it's gonna be a very long season.

Right. I'm all about respecting our opponent, but with all due respect, I really hope that we dominate that game. If we don't, how are we going to suit up against Florida and Alabama and Georgia and Ole Miss? We'll bring it.

And welcome to our Washington fan. Please stick around and tell us more about your team.

I've also heard that the boat tailgating is incredible, but I'm sure those of us here will take exception to your "best gameday experience" statement. We are the winners of that category!

let me start by clarifying that i wasn't talking sh*t, i think LSU will win but UW will be better than most think, pac-10 is just as tough as any conference, even though i know that wont get any love on here, as for the guy asking about drinking and eating on a budget, almost every seafood restaurant on the waterfront has a cheaper seafood bar out in front, i highly suggest staying out of the pioneer square are or belltown after the game for drinks, has gotten sh*tty over the years and its a bunch of idiot 21 year olds looking for a fight, also does anybody know when the UW is coming down to baton rouge, i believe its 2012 but cant seem to find anything
