Spears, but Wroten is a definate second place in my book. Wroten will be the leader of the D next year.
Spears in a landslide...but I am completely confident in Claude and Kyle stuffing the middle next year...in fact I think next years D will be absolutely lights out and remind us of 2003.
Spears was a player that affected what the other team did because if you didn't stop him you didn't have much chance of success. Not many single players can say that the other teams offense had to game plan around them. I have seen some posts especially early in the season that his stats were down this year. Some of that was because he was given much attention by the other team and coaching staff. He will be very hard to replace but I'm confident that Saban will try like hell to get us someone not too scared to try and live up the standard that Spears has set. I expect to be watching him very soon on Sundays. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
You must only be counting the last few games of the season if you put Claude second, he did get benched and moved around because of failing to make plays early while Williams was a monster early, like Spears late. And Kyle kept on playing very good throughout. Wroten came on strong the last 5 games are so but Kyle was better and more consistent. Turner also was very good and doesn't get as much recognition since he was covering for the in-experienced LB's through the first half of the season and making plays downfield a little, but he improved a lot this season and made countless big tackles for us this season.
