Time will likely prove you are right. Give it time.

Are you his dad? Xavier Carter is a sprinter, that means he runs fast. Does he pole vault, throw the discus or javelin? I didn't think so. He might be a good athlete but you cant say he is because he can run fast.

Also, ESPN Greatest Athletes of the 20th Century included sprinters. I think I'll take ESPN's opinion over yours.

    Jesse Owens #6
    Carl Lewis #12
    Jackie Joynoer-Kersee #23
    Wilma Rudolph #41
    Edwin Moses #47

shaq by no means should be considered an all time athelete at LSU sure its not possible to have great agility, speed, or sick nasty baseball skills when you are 7'1 350+ but all he does is bodies up on people and dunks on them.

Go ahead and take ESPN's opinion over mine. You belong in the same category as them idiots.

Woo Hoo, I can run fast, I'm one of the greatest athletes in the world.

For someone who claims to know so much about sports you are most certainly showing a great deal of short-sightedness when it comes to track & field athletes...

PS Someone who runs fast and can beat OTHER fast people IS a good athlete.

You're one of the few folks that I've ever heard that doesn't think so...

What don't you guys understand? It takes more than speed to be called a great athlete. Do you guys even know what an athlete is? An athlete is versatile and is good at more than one thing. Again, I'm not saying he isn't a great athlete, you guys are just saying he is because he can run fast.

Xavier Carter is a Great SPRINTER!!!

    Read my post above yours.

I said he was a great athlete BECAUSE HE CAN OUTRUN OTHER GREAT RUNNERS.

Since when does an athlete have to be versatile?

Who made that absurd rule up?
    (bolded items mine)

I don't see the word versatile in that definition from dictionary.com.

Perhaps that "versatile" conjecture is just your opinion, no?

It says sports. You know, with an s on the end, meaning plural. More than one. Anyway, I'm tired of arguing with Idiots.
