And yet they aren't getting called that often. Where as it seems every questionable holding on us is called... And like I've said, I've never been one to think the media was after us because I acknoledge they say bad things to every team, and I know bad calls get made - it happens to everybody, but this seems to be a trend.

My point is every team's fans see the BS calls and think they happen more to their team than all others. Besides the BS calls we see, we are getting flagged a lot because we are committing penalties a lot.

I just watched a replay of the game and kept track of the holding calls. We had five that I counted, including one on Hester on special teams on a k/o return.

Whitworth had two early, there was one early in the 4th qtr that I never heard the number called or the announcers mention the player, and the one on Niswanger late in the game. I would imagine that Miles might be pissed at Niswanger because his was late in the game, away from the action. He basically tackled the defender in plain view of the zebra.

The radio called three holds on Whitworth. I believe he is the one that will get the holding lecture this week. Meanwhile NFL scouts are drooling.

    He holds like a pro.

Anybody see Whitworth's man make a play?

There is no one BIGGER than the TEAM itself. If the DUMB A$$ think he is bigger than the TEAM then he should NOT play team sport.

I think he is talking about JaMarcus Russell who evidently cannot be coached re throwing the ball up for grabs. If his foot had not been OOB he would have had 3 interceptions. Also think he screwed up the play on Addai's fumble. Addai wasn't expecting the ball and Doucet was wondering where the ball was.

Addai was expecting the ball on that handoff and even said so after the game. On the replay it looked like JR put it right where it was supposed to be.

I hope when LSU sends their game tapes into the SEC every week they have the tackles of Wroten and Williams inlcuded, it's really getting to be ridiculous it is so blatant.

I think that once we got the reputation that we are a penalized team, the refs look closer at our games. Just like the Raiders, we are not going to get the benefit of the doubt this year. The penalties need to be corrected, over 10 penalties a game is unacceptable. I can never remember a team having this poor a problem, especially such a senior laden team.

You know, when we are getting hammered by the officials I can't help but wonder if they aren't getting some payback. LSU complained loud and long about that chickenchit call on the missed kick at Auburn last year. Maybe on a lot of others, too. Officials have a way of getting a message across, sometimes.
