That's Wasaibi like the "hot green paste" you mix with Ginger in your soy sauce. It's on Frenchman street past Esplanade

Wasaibi is terrific, Frenchman street has alot of great restaurants

What kind of fish is sushi anyway? Here is a true fact. I know its true because I heard it on Hollywood Squares:

The three most caught fish is the world are:

    1. Herring
    2. Sardines
    3. Anchovies

Wasabi is Japanese horseradish. Mixing the ginger with wasabi in the soy sauce is a matter of personal taste but the ginger's true purpose is to cleanse the palate between bites. If anyone has never tried sushi because the thought of raw fish just doesn't do it for you, I recommend you try a California, soft shell crab, or crunchy roll (all cooked) then decide whether it's worth it. When you dip that piece into soy sauce with wasabi and put it in your mouth, there is an explosion of flavors that you just don't get any where else.
