My sister closed on her LRA grant a couple of weeks ago, and the old slab has been demo'd, and the lot regraded. They are waiting for the builder to finalize the contract. They are on Canal between Lane and Bragg. They just sold their interim house uptown. They are hoping for about 6 mos to get into the rebuild. Not a lot of action on their block, a bit bothersome for them.

In fact, rebuilding is sparse throughput Lakeview. My friend bought a house on Memphis at Brooks. They are remodeling right now. Its coming along pretty well right now. In that block, there are 4 houses being reworked right now, and several have been torn down. Unfortunately, there are still a couple that still need to be gutted. There seems to be a lot of traffic, but not a lot of action.

I did hear that they are going to resurface all of Fleur de Lis (not every other block as in years past). :hihi: I know its a tough call for you, on whether to rebuils, especially while up in Okie.

It's common knowledge that all Popeye's employees go through their training at the DMV. Courtesy and efficiency are offered only in post graduate courses.

From the list provided, I would go with What-a-Burger. The burgers are just less dry than Sonic, and that is the difference for me. Funny thing is I have them both about 1/2 mile from my home, right across the street from each other. I go to Sonic because of traffic patterns and the Strawberry Limeade.

Man that was a thick burger. One of the best I've had in a while. Thanks.
