Let me get this straight...UT lets Vandy score 33 one week then lets UK roll up 31 but then the next week UT somehow pulls cryptonite out of fat phil's ass and limits Auburn to 13? Good God what are you smoking... :dis:

are you stupid enough to think comparing game scores equates to the next game? good god, if so you could retire and simply bet based on past scores. motivation and emotion plays a bit of a factor into college sports. nothing would shock me nor should it you.

 

It's not scores, it's the way they're playing...hello? UT's defense is almost non-existant at this point. You're telling me that it's likely for UT's defense to go from absolutely horrible, allowing 64 points to VANDY AND KENTUCKY in consecutive weeks, to being able to STOP the best offense in the SEC the next week? yeah same way K state was gonna get blown out by a better team in OU last year everyone was claiming to be THE BEST TEAM EVER in college football. HELLO, you're not as good as them yet they got blown out.

Well put, Tirk! They play the games for a reason. Most Tennessee fans felt about as condident as Aunuma does right now back in 2001, right? Heck, I passed up a chance to go to the LSU-Florida game in 1997 when Florida was #1 and LSU had almost gotten beaten by VANDY the week before. I thought the Gators were going to stomp us. I should have known better, and I do know better now. I stand by my prediction that Tennessee scores late to win. I'd like to see it - but really only if USC and/or OU also lose.

Yeah, I guess you guys are right. Anything can happen. I mean, it's not like Auburn has played UT this season and beat them soundly in Knoxville. UT was just letting Vandy and UK look all-World so it could trick Auburn into thinking UT was no good...
