It's being phased out smartly and there is no fighting going on by US troops. You would have been the first to complain if we pulled troops immediately. In fact you predicted Obama would do just that. Obama is pragmatic and did none of the things you expected, like going counter to his generals advice or going soft on terror.

So, what exactly is "unaccountable" about it?

I don't hate Bush either, remember that. I hated what he did to this country.

Inaccurate, we are worried about another Republican administration and we think too many intelligent, educated people have forgotten how bad the Republicans were the last time around. I'd trade Obama for Hillary in a heartbeat, but not for anybody the GOP has running.

Gee, I didn't realize that Bush only served 7 years and Obama took office a year early.

So you're adding Bush's bank bailouts to Obama? As well as the Stimulus that kept Bush's economic collapse from snowballing?

Nope. Not even close. Not even a coherent argument.

The only thing I disagree with it that we can't cut further. To this date it is true that we won't cut further, and as such without increasing taxes or only spending what we have, things keep getting worse.

But I put the blame on those who vote to put us further into debt and reduce the value of the dollar, not those who refuse to ask for more money. The big problem in my eyes is that many Republicans are in the debt boat with many Democrats. When Republicans had power they did the same crap, spending beyond our means. I lost faith in most of our government and haven't gained it back yet.

Some things we can't cut further. Others can take large cuts. Subsidies are a huge waste and should be eliminated. Defense and Medicare are so fat that there can be a lot of trimming without fundamentally changing the way that they work. That sort of thing.

    In that case, no.

I was hoping for an itemized list of expenditures.
