How many times do I have to tell you . . . that is NOT AT QUESTION!!! It's a dumb comparison. It does nothing to undermine the data that indicate today's warming is rapid and anthropogenic. The impacts of humans are significant and have been proved to be so. The impacts on life in human time are real.

Yesterday I drove approximately 200 miles (R/T) to Baton Rouge to watch the Tigers play. I saw thousands of cars, trucks, vans, R/Vs, and "18-wheeler" trucks. I guess NONE of those people believe in manmade global warming. I guess NONE of those people are liberal Democrats. I didn't see a single person walking or riding a bicycle until I was within one mile of the campus. I know Louisiana is now a red state but wow...I guess we don't have a single person who believes and/or cares about the planet. We know from national media that it's impossible for liberal Democrats to be hypocrites or to use double standards so I guess LSU didn't have any liberal fans yesterday. I also didn't notice anything being delivered via non-motorized vehicles. It makes you wonder where manmade global warming believers acquire food, clothing, appliances, materials, products, etc. Are ANY of these things made or delivered without adding more carbon or is this another example of class warfare where some are more important than others therefore it's okay to use more? All these web links and discussion about "science" don't matter. This is about hypocrisy and politics. Those who talk the most about manmade global warming are the biggest violators and much of the money is being funneled to Obama supporters...PERIOD!...FACT! BTW...I used my SUV yesterday and enjoyed all the extra legroom! :thumb: I wanted to run over a Smart car, Prius, or electric car...but I didn't see a single one. I did see a few gas-guzzling cars with Obama bumper stickers. Damn hypocrites!
What is this foolishness? Democrats aren't advocating the elimination of autos. Is this sillyness supposed to be an argument denying global warming? You are failing badly. And now you have lost.
And what was the global temperature increase during that time? And what % can be attributed to a normal rebound from the Little Ice Age? Then, what % left would YOU attribute to AGW? That would be the value we would discuss.
