I'm in the Gumbo 1973, 1974. I don't have any copies and am trying to google a picture of me from there...so far with no success. I'm listed under my street name "Stephen Joseph Herbert, Jr." if you have any copies. I had long wavy hair...heck I had HAIR !!!!

It was one of my first posts and I was new here and no one knew me. I was translating Miles' coach speak from one of his pressers into common English and I was real sarcastic...biting sarcasm.

Your comment was great...If I remember, it was "just like a cook....stir, stir" :lol:

I understood later that your dad was a coach and you didn't like unjust criticism of coaches.

I would like to meet pretty much everyone on here, this place is more of a family than it is an internet message board. Haven't been on here since 2 days before christmas so, i hope you all had a wonderful christmas. It freaking snowed in North Texas. We actually had a white christmas. I would especially like to meet, SabanFan, Mastermind, Red, Bayou Bengal, BHelm, Cajun Sensation, Stevescookin, Stacey, Okie, Cripp, MC, Mobius, Shaq, Bengal B, COTiger, Rex, Supa, f it, everyone on here, i don't drink but i would drink one or two with all you guys and gals.

 

I think that should the opportunity arise I would like to meet just about everyone on the board. I find our family of posters very interesting and know I would be honored to meet them. There are a few that I think we probably either have met or might even know each other from back during our days at LSU.

 

if you ever get to one of our tailgates, ill share one of my trainers with you. :grin:
