1. This guy makes a pretty good case for Tucker:

  2. That all needs to be left to the new coach to decide. I’m ok with recommendations, but we want the new guy free to make his own decisions.

  3. Joseph is on staff primarily due to his recruiting in N.O. You don't want Joseph or Kevin Faulk recruiting against you, that's all I'll say.

  4. If it is Tucker, he better bring a bad ass OC with him.

  6. Gonna be watching Baylor games, UL games along with Mich State games. Gonna be one of these 3. Aranda is my first choice and a toss up with Tucker and Napier. I have really warmed up to an Aranda hire.

  7. Hopefully the next HC has control of either offense or defense and delegates to a ‘coordinator’
For the love of God not another ‘game manager’
  8. See and I don't think it will be any of those guys

  9. That could easily happen. None are big name coaches. But could be very solid hires though.

Not sure where the "Swinging for the Fences" narrative comes from. Not from Woodward. Likely the local talk radio personalities. They take it from the big doings in Women's Basketball, a non revenue sport. Also referring to Woodward as a "Big Game Hunter". They feed off each other.

No idea what Woodward is looking honestly, except for a winner. I can't think of 2 more opposites than Lane Kiffin & Dave Aranda. Which type does Woodward prefer? Very business like approach vs. Twitter happy, pass happy, outscore everyone, but no Defense approach.

    Who knows?

  10. I think we have a pretty good idea by looking at his last two football hires. Chris Peterson and Jimbo are polar opposites of Kiffen as well as O for that matter. That's why I'll be shocked if it turns out to be Kiffen. I got a mental picture of a Woodward Kiffen business meeting with Woodward 100% focused in a $2,000 business suit and Kiffen in cutoffs, sandals, and a 'Dead' teeshirt - with visor and sunglasses looking at Twitter on his phone.
