I knew this thread would get the bashers out their seat. You just can't give Brady credit for nothing. You forget how LSU was up $h!t$ creek when he took over the program. You forget how the man wins and is always in the hunt to be #1 team in the division. You forget how he gets great players to come to LSU despite the lack of fan support that tubby has. All I have to say is CJB will win SEC coach of the year and he will make it to the NCAAT. I can't tell what’s going to happen come tournament time but I think the odds are higher for LSU making it to the final four then sad ass Kentucky. By the way you would never and I mean NEVER see CJB play his son most of the game even know he sucks donkey D!(k when it comes to running the point. I never did like Tubby or his kid.
So your saying Saul sucked. Wow. He is to UK what G Temple is to LSU. Defense. Saul was a true point and he did a good job at not turning the ball over. Man I love being right so many times.
Look at the current LSU TEAM and you know why the others have transferred. :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige
That kid sucked a$$. He uses to run all over the place trying to guard everyone. Plus he looked like an Iraqi.
So all players who suck get this from the man himself DICKY V Wednesday night is Saul Smith's farewell at Kentucky. Senior Night is special all over the country, and at Rupp Arena, the guard deserves a standing ovation from the fans in blue. There is not another player in college basketball who has faced the scrutiny and constant evaluation that Saul Smith has endured. I admire the fact that he has never moaned and groaned about the fans and the criticism. He has held his head up high, showing tremendous spirit, enthusiasm and effort on the court. He is not the most talented player to ever wear the Kentucky uniform. He gave everything he had every night he stepped onto the court. Smith showed tremendous character during his collegiate career. Remember, he has a championship ring to show for his effort. There were times where the relationship between Kentucky fans and the guard were nasty. The crowd vented their frustrations and the venom flowed. Smith never retaliated, simply plugging along, giving it his all. He has been an important part of Kentucky's run this season. It is never easy to have your son play for you, and Tubby Smith has been unfairly criticized at times. It is difficult when your son doesn't have star ability. In fact, it creates a dilemma. Both Smiths have handled the situation well, and the Wildcats are once again one of the top stories in the SEC this season. Fans often waited for reasons to fault both Smiths. When Kentucky opened this season at 3-5, the nay-sayers and doubters were out in full force. Fingers were being pointed by the Kentucky rooters. But the confidence never faded in the Smith camp. Now, in Saul Smith's final home game, it is time for the fans to give a proper salute. The guard deserves a big-time standing ovation. I hope the fans in Rupp Arena come through with it.
Venice, Wow, such hatered! I guess your racists as well? :dis: More facts to chew on. I won't take credit of the facts...I gathered from a fan on Kentucky.Rivals.com. Pretty interesting! From 2003 to 2005, UK won 34 games against the RPI Top 50 in the regular season. Contrast with that Duke winning 21 or Illinois winning 20. In 2003 and 2004, UK won 14 games against the RPI Top 50 in each season with the closest team in each year winning 10. Even if the RPI is somehow skewed in favor of the SEC, I am not sure how this can in anyway equate to Tubby padding the wins against easy competition. Taking it a step further, since 1999 (so ignoring Tubby's best year in 1998), Tubby has won 74 games against RPI Top 50 team in the regular season and conference tourney. Duke has won 63. To be fair, I also looked at the Sagarin Top 30 wins over the same stretch. UK won 21 in those three years. That is behind only Duke with 25 and UNC with 22. Oklahoma St. also has 21 and Texas has 20. So UK is right in the thick of things even with Top 30 wins taken from another ranking source. And UK's 15 wins in 2003 and 2004 is tied with Duke and second only to Texas with 17. With the dominance in RPI Top 50 wins and the fact that UK is right at the top in Sagarin Top 30 wins, I don't really see how the argument can be made with a straight face that Tubby has won against inferior competition. Illinois has had far fewer RPI wins and had 17 Sagarin wins, and has played against an average RPI SOS of 51. UK RPI SOS average has been 17. Are you getting it Vencie?
